CRUSH Sonic PSJA School Fundraiser March 13th-14th

SONIC Drive-In in San Juan hosts fundraiser dedicated to teachers
On March 13 and 14, the drive-in is donating a portion of proceeds for any in-person purchase to public school teachers in Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD

San Juan, Texas (March 9, 2021) – To continue supporting public school teachers in San Juan, Texas, the SONIC® Drive-In franchise group, CRUSH Enterprises, is hosting a fundraiser all day on March 13 and 14. Throughout the entire weekend, 15 percent of proceeds for any in-person purchase made at the drive-in located at 207 W. FM 495 will be donated to Pharr-San JuanAlamo ISD to help teachers at its schools that need the most funds. Guests are invited to join the team at the San Juan Drive-In during the give-back event to raise funds and help teachers in
the community.

Last month, CRUSH Enterprises committed to making a generous donation of $25,000 to public school teachers projects in Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD by matching donations to teacher requests on DonorsChoose, SONIC’s longtime Limeades for Learning nonprofit partner. While the number of funded teachers requests continues to grow, the donation match has helped more than 15 teachers access valuable learning supplies to enhance student learning
experiences.

“Our fundraiser event is a token of appreciation for the heroes in and outside of classrooms,” said SONIC franchisee and Founder/CEO of CRUSH Enterprises, Al Trevino. “We’re beyond thankful for the amount of support our guests have shown us since the day we opened, and we want to embrace them by giving back. We are grateful to be a part of the San Juan community and have made it a goal to not only provide guests with the best dining experience, but also help our neighbors during unprecedented times.”

Helping teachers access much-needed learning supplies through the DonorsChoose donation
match and giving back to the community is an honor for Trevino, making the fundraiser event a natural extension.

SONIC is committed to helping teachers now in this time of need, and all year long. Through Limeades for Learning, SONIC has donated more than $18 million to public school teachers, impacting more than 5.7 million students and 26,500 teachers nationwide since 2009. The San Juan Drive-In is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to midnight.
